Carissa Tandiono is an Indonesian-born writer of Chinese descent. Her work spans from Paranormal, New Adult Contemporary, and lately she tapped into High Fantasy Romance. Wonderlust (2020) was longlisted for the Epigram Books Fiction Prize Awards, a Southeast-Asian-focused literary Award based in Singapore. Her piece about growing up in a mixed-race family in Indonesia was featured in Vice Asia in the wake of Chinese New Year 2019 and was translated into Indonesian. She has also previously contributed to publications such as Indonesia Mengglobal. She also took a writing workshop mentored by writer and poet Norman Erikson Pasaribu.
She currently lives in Jakarta, Indonesia with her two cats and works full-time as a Product Designer at an E-commerce company. She watches movies too much, organizes watch parties with her fellow cinephile friends, and reads books in her commute to work. She streams on Twitch under the name of Cloviscat.
